Casio g-shock Mudman suffering
It's been 2 years 1 month since purchasing my Casio G-Shock Mudman gw-9010 rally chrono wave ceptor atomic solar power (and several names they come up with).

I think g-shocks are inheritable ugly and digital watches soulless but none the less this watch has been on my wrist for just over two years fulfilling the role as tough, rugged timepiece that I required.
In that time it has experience bivvy camping, concreting, gardening, working on landrover, welding and numerous other watch killing events. To date the worst battles scars has been pits in the crystal from welding splatter and general abrading scuffs of the bezel.

Today the one of the rubberised protective button covers wore away around the edge and scalped itself. Not only is it an unsightly wound it's probably going to shorten the life of the button it protects once grit and grime get to work.
Time for a new one? try and get a replacement button cover? Stick a blob of silicon sealant in the hole?
JAPAN FUBAR
With all the shit in Japan, quakes - tidal waves and radiation leaks there is only one thing left to fulfil sci-fi prophecy so I have set up alerts that scan news articles for the first mention of Godzilla emerging from the water which should happen any day now.
