Been playing with WSPR (Weak Signal Propagation Reporter) on and off for the last week or so. Trying various antenna configurations with the FT857 and trying different ways to reduce the power out from the radio.  Had results at 500mW with my 10metre tall HF vertical today (via an ATU) on 30metre band.

Was getting a bit too cold to play as the sun set  so last results where on 20metres with a measured output from rig of 1watt using the mobile ATAS120 antenna on the truck. My signal made it the 5500km across the Atlantic and picked up by a couple of USA stations, both of which I gave return reports.
