First QSL card
Probably of no interest to anyone outside of the HAM world and very little interest to those within... but here is my first ever QSL card that I have received.
I had not planned on collecting QSL cards other than maybe for the occasional QSO. This was one of those occasions that I wanted to exchange cards but I am not sure why exactly.
Maybe because I am a new HAM and wanted at least one card, maybe because the station was transmitting from what I think is a rare(ish) grid square, or maybe because it is a rare Island on the Air station, or maybe because the QSO was on the 10metre band during a sunspot low and was likely my first confirmed Sporadic E propagation QSO AT 1300miles, *shrug* I do not know.
