Forgive for I have sinned
We got a an XBOX 360 in the living room *shock*
We had one as a Christmas gift from parents and love it. Only playing Call of Duty 5 at moment but that's some game to be going on with.
I only use my laptop these days and it is no games machine. The desktop PC is unused and needs a serious update for playing latest games, something I have not interest in spending money on. So to relieve that video game itch a console was the prefect solution.
Wireless controllers, HD on the wide screen TV, connects into the cable Internet hub that lives right there on same shelf, plop the iPod or video camera into the USB port, run media from the laptop across network, yeah it fits into the household good.
Grand Theft Auto is on the wish list as in the previous COD 4.
Christmas NavRun
Did another nav run on the plains, was a nice route. Great weather, but boy it was cold in some spots when the wind was blowing.
I think the dogs had enough by the end of the day.
On a bitter side note...
Have had word from Toppa that some conniving cowardly cunts from LRUK whom were doing a treasure hunt on the ranges at same time have got it into their head to plot against Steve Gunning the navrun organiser. Shame on them. Steve being the most pro active person trying to keep the local byways open and serviceable by liasing with the ROW officers at the council, MOD, land wardens, MOD Police, GLASS, Trial riders Association, submitting huge amount of user evidence forms, educating user of the legal routes, doing lane clearance days etc etc etc
