Nice sunny day, so roof off, map out and hitting the byways of Wiltshire.
Beached the landrover twice. Easy 5 minute recovery with the hi-lift jack and sand ladders used as a bridge.
Some really wide greenlanes around here, almost a motorway.
6 hours of greenlaning numbs the bum and turns everything a shade of brown.

Got a set of landrover recovery loop points as a present off father from his eBay bidding experience.
Held on with new M12 8.8 Grade HT Steel fixings, which should least take about 11 metric tonne of combined shear and tensile force.
Fitting complicated as one of the chassis struts required strengthening due to patch of corrosion.

Awaiting spares. Carb gasket, dizzy cap, sparks, contact points and spare rotor arm.
Went for a 5 mile hike today in the gorgeous weather. Found a trail of dropped items some poor soul must have shed from a holed or open rucksack. 3 new 2100 mh rechargeable batteries, front door key and a pen, spread over 2km. The batteries will come in useful.

Just realised gmail now does smtp and pop3 connections, sweet ! So its flavour of the week. Send and receive gmail via outlook etc, how cool is that.
