Recovery D rings on Series 1 landrover

Got a set of landrover recovery loop points as a present off father from his eBay bidding experience.

Held on with new M12 8.8 Grade HT Steel fixings, which should least take about 11 metric tonne of combined shear and tensile force.

Fitting complicated as one of the chassis struts required strengthening due to patch of corrosion.

I am an experienced ebayer??? truth is I paid more for these old used loop points than had I purchased them new, further, the bolts would have been part of the kit !!!! blush
