10/17/2004: "Kafir - Someone who rejects Allah."

Proud to be a Kafir? Get a Kafir Tattoo! big grin

Kafir a word bastardised in the past by the white south africans as an offensive term for any Black African. Often bastardised by muslims to define everyone who is not a muslim, but that is also false as it is not what the koran teaches.

My preferred meaning of KAFIR / kafaru / kufr / kuffar (and other variations) is ...

The true meaning of KAFIR / kafaru / kufr / kuffar (and other variations) is the non-Muslims whom actively disbelief or reject the islamic faith and Muhammad as 'the' Prophet of God. Those who refuse to convert.

So if your Kafir and proud why not show it by displaying a kafir design website banner, bumper sticker, tattoo etc the design would be up to you.

My personal preferred kafir design proposal would be based on a cross, a symbol of Christianity and the Crucifixion of Christ. The colour of the cross would be a red as where the many forms as worn by different Order of the Crusading Knights. (see FIG 0)

Cross (Patriarchal) (SEE FIG1) This is an ecclesiastical cross that is often seen carried by the patriarchs. The upper bar represents the inscription placed on the cross by Pilate. Adopted by the French Underground Resistance during the 2nd World War.

Cross (Triumphant, of Victory, and Orb) (SEE FIG 2) This cross symbolizes the final triumph and reign of Christ over the world. It is often used in Christian art atop the scepter of Jesus as He reigns in glory.

Some of the ROUGH DESIGNS below show the Patriarcal Cross, as a symbol of Christianity and borrows from the idiealolgy of a Resistance movement, its shape is also a good replacement for the letter "F" in the word kaFir.

Where the word "KAFIR" is set around the shape of a curve with the cross rising out / dominating above it, this curve represents the orb shape of the world, and is characterizing the "Cross of Victory".

The combined design concept is pretty good as it represents many things, A statement of defiance against the islamic faith, rejection of allah. A clear statement of Christianity and the Glorous Reign of Christ, with reference to War and resistance over islamic faith.
